Alzheimer's Association Junior Committee Annual Gala!
Hi All!
Soooo..... My sister Janine and I recently joined the Alzheimers Association NYC Junior Committee because my Nanny (mom's mom) has developed the disease~! its onset right now but could potentially get worse! So of course being in this group helps me to help my Nanny and the disease by being apart of an initiative that... well raises money for research of the disease to get closer to finding a cure!
Would you guys like to receive a save-the-date for the Alzheimer’s Association Junior Committee's annual gala? I am helping to plan it and do publicity for it! It’s all for young professionals and its going to probably be at a hot location in NYC probably in May! It was at Tenjune last year and from the pics it looked like an awesome party! I would just need your physical addresses and emails! You’ll get a save the date in a few weeks and then an actual invitation a few weeks before the event! No spam or junk mail -I swear! Also, if you know anyone else in the city or LI who are like 40 and under (this is young professionals) who would like to be invited, I need their names addresses and emails. Last year about 300 people came and I think they raised almost $70,000 sooooo... of course this year we are aiming to go above and beyond that (especially since I am on the planning committee now!)!
I could use your help and it would mean a lot to me if you guys got some of your boyfriends/girlfriends/husbands/wives/friends/family who are all young people who would want to go to a party at an awesome club (still in the process but it might be at Tenjune again)! I just need the names and addresses from you guys...
If anyone who works for a company or owns a company and wants to donate products for the silent auction or be a sponsor of the event let me know and I can send you a professional letter with the details and sponsorship info. This is a 501 (c)(3) not for profit org and tax deductible contributions are always fun for everyone!
